We are a family winery situated in southern Rheinhessen.
We continue the tradition established by founder Oekonomierat Johann Geil, molding it to fit the demands of our time as well.
Our goal is to show how time and dedication, coupled with tradition and technical innovation, can produce a superior product that is contemporary, exquisite and individual.
Our philosophy combines a consistent orientation toward quality, a strong degree of craftsmanship and a gentle touch in the production of our sparkling and still wines, all based around a tradition of family ownership and individual attention.

Products & Services
We produce still and sparkling wine in southern Rheinhessen, the so called Wonnegau region.
The clear focus of our work is on the Riesling, Burgunder and Silvaner varieties.
Winegrowing has a long and proud tradition in Bechtheim.
A decree from 1780 by the State Office of the Principality of Leiningen, stipulating that vines were only to be planted in areas whose soil was suited to producing quality wines, shows the attention that wines from this place were already being afforded.
The decree also laid out the specific site names that continue to be used even today.
