About us
The Paul Anheuser wine estate is established since 1627 in Bad Kreuznach. 1915, Rudolf Anheuser expanded his possessions beyond the town limits of Bad Kreuznach. He added choice vineyards with exceptional soil quality and ideal micro-climate in the Nahe Valley towns of Schlossboeckelheim and Niederhausen. Marketing of bottled wine started with great success.
The 14th generation Rudolf III and Paul Christian Anheuser took over the reins of the family business.
Working hand in hand with nature, both brothers cultivate traditional grapes varieties in top sites of the Nahe region, particulary Riesling and Pinot family. Typical for the region, the estate mainly prouce fruity and refreshing Riesling wines.
Their philosophy towards quality focuses on reduction on yield, strict selection and cold fermentation
