About us
We are 4 different wine cooperatives from 4 different wine growing regions in Germany.
These 4 wine cooperatives are: Durbacher Winzer eG, Winzergenossenschaft Herxheim am Berg eG, Remstalkellerei eG and Winzervereinigung Freyburg-Unstrut eG. Our wines grow in winegrowing region Baden, Pfalz, Württemberg and Saale - Unstrut.
In total we´ve got 1500 vintners, 1500 hectars and an annual production of 13 millions liters wine. A 350-year-old winemaking tradition with one common mission: bringing German wine to the whole world!
The name of our brand: FERNWEH EST. BY UWoG
In our portfolio you could taste simple every-day-drinking- wines as well as expressive wines from steep slopes in all varieties; wether white, red, rosé and also sparkling wines - we´ve all under one roof.

FERNWEH Riesling DQW dry
As befits the queen of German white wines, this full–bodied wine ends with an elegant long finish.
It goes well with fish, salad and hearty dishes. This wine is also perfect on its own.
FERNWEH Pinot Noir DQW dry
Strong on the palate with off-dry tannins, significantly fruity aromas, smooth mineral notes and a light licorice note in the finish.
It pairs well with beef, game and aged cheese.
FERNWEH Bacchus DQW lieblich (sweet)
In the nose and also in the mouth this wine is reminiscent of balck currant and honeydew melon. We recommend to pair this wine with asian cuisin and fruity desserts.
