The winery Josef Milz is located in the middle of Trittenheim on the Moselle. The Milz family has been growing wine there since 1520 and is one of the founding members of the VDP.

90 % of the vineyards are steep slopes. This includes our monopole vineyards: Trittenheimer Felsenkopf and Trittenheimer Leiterchen.

We have set ourselves the goal of responding to the typicality of the Moselle, which means placing more emphasis on the traditional production of Mosel Riesling. We use the most modern cellar technology to produce a Riesling that corresponds to the type of wine that helped the Moselle to achieve international fame during its glory period at the beginning of the 20th century.

As a classic Riesling winery, it is important that the wines have a long shelf life and should not only be drunk young. The range includes different varieties and vintages - from dry and semi-dry, from light to noble and full-bodied top wines.
