This spicy, mild white wine is made from the Gewürztraminer grape variety and comes from the sunny vineyards of the Rheinhessen wine-growing region in the Rhine Valley. The location conditions there are ideal for this medium-late-ripening grape variety. It prefers warm, deep soils with high demands on the location. Lower yields lead to wines that are rich in extract and expressive, from golden yellow to honey-like color. The name comes from Tramin in South Tyrol.

Gewürztraminer produces very aromatic wines that are reminiscent of rose petals and lychees.
